Don't Give Up

I discovered that I had Breast Cancer five years ago (October) - went through the chemo treatments, mediport, blood transfusions, lost the hair, mastectomy, removal of lymph nodes, swelling arm - the whole senerio.

In October when I visited my oncologist and he said everything looked great and I did not need to seem him again!!!

I came back to my office and cried and cried. Tears of joy.

I saw an old co-worker that day at lunch and she told me that when I was told that I had breast cancer that the physicians that I worked with (in a multi-specialty physician clinic) had met and they (my co-workers were told by I not be returning to work - that I was not going to survive - Guess what!!! I did survive.

Don't give up. Enjoy each day!!! No one is promised a tomorrow.
